On the subject, what are your thoughts on Google Core Web vitals? People using display ads are very like to be poor for all URLs running ads. Google have stated this will be a ranking factor in the near future - I'm worried this problem wont be fixed in time for the update. The loss in traffic and revenue could be sizeable. Are you preparing for this in some way? A video on this subject would be great (if you can fit it into your busy schedule lol)

Even if one can find a runaround to paying...Don't you find a bit freaky that you have to pay Ezoic in order for your site to be faster (funny enough the slow speed is caused by them to start with), and you're making money for them on top of it. So basically, you pay them for the right to get paid and for them to function better, like they're supposed to, to start with.

If you have an old fairly inactive blog, and you want to use the domain for a seperate topic (as in deleting the current posts as they are not really driving traffic, and starting all over with a completely different niche) is there anything that needs to be done in terms of google, or will google automatically find out the topic has changed and start ranking your posts for the new topic/niche?
Anything else to consider before pivoting the niche in an existing blog?

Hi Morten, I have a question for you about authors.

Do you write under your name on every blog you create, or do you use a "fake" author persona, and how do you deal with EAT?

What do you think about using your blog name as an author, like, Animal How Staff, or just the blog name?
I'm asking because I do have a blog and write as blog name author, and at the end of every article, I state that we are a team and tell our goals and also have a link to the about page where I talk more about the team and even show a picture of a group of my friends and state that these are our writers and contributors.

Is the last approach fine?

Hej Morten thanks for sharing the insights.
I have a question about Anchor ads which sticks at the bottom(horizontal) of the page, althogh these ads can closed by user.
But in your experience does it affect the SEO ranking because somehow it always a little annoying for the end users to see a sticky advertisement at the bottom of the page.
I am still little afraid to enable this ads(bottom sticky ads) on my website because I wanna keep my user experience as my first priority then my ads.

So in short - Does this type of ads affects SEO ranking ?

Question, please. When I added my affiliate tables at the top in my blogs, I noticed fewer people now scroll down the page and the bounce rate is higher. Do you think I need to move the tables down a bit so the website visitors will have to scroll down?
