Your plants and berries are pretty fantastic. I grow this variety in Pennsylvania, but in the ground, and it does really well. A number of the plants have died back in winter, but they came back pretty strong. Love the large berry size.

My wild blackberries have been very undependable here. There are some really good ones but they produced well for only one season right before the bad southern heatwave and drought last year. I pruned the new canes and expected a bumper crop and it was bad. They tasted bland and had snails on them. So I just got a nice looking bush of this variety for Louisiana. These will be easy to protect with a mesh row cover to prevent the birds from gobbling them up and they should add flavor to my mulberry wine too. It`s so hard to pick wild blackberries because of mosquitoes, snakes, fire ants, vines and stickers and these may give me a fall crop. I`m trying to build a food forest so the government can`t starve me again.

Nice! If youve raised triple crown, how would you say they compare?
