For years i' ve used low range or mid range phones and, of course, always find myself being annoyed by something lacking, so i decided i' ll save for a flagship to keep and that' ll be this phone!
Even if i get the money by next year and there is a 25 ultra already, lol, Samsung is pretty rounded so im confident it will be a good choice

I also have mine without screen protector. The anti glare from Samsung is not great at protecting because it not tempered glass, and the tempered glass is less scracth resistant that the Gorila Armour. Tempered glass will save a hit for sure, but in my case, I've never broken a screen phone so I'm enjoying the screen at full potential.

My s23 ultra has been great. Had it for a year and only have one minor scratch on the screen. Ive dropped it more times then I remember.

I dropped mine about a ft in the gym with a screen protector on and ended up with a dust sized chip in the screen. I can't unsee it now

I have some scratches in my display, confused as to how they got there as I limit what goes in pockets. I should get a carry case at this point

I can’t wait to get away from Apple and afford the 24 ultra 🙏🏻🙏🏻🤦🏻‍♀️ For now I’ve had to pay to replace the battery on my current iPhone as I have too many more important things to pay for, but Apple have given me nothing but trouble and expense for a decade now and no more!

I had my s24U bare screen with no screen protector really for a week, and despite super careful usage with no drops, I still had a micro scratchs on the upper left of the screen. Oh well, glass is glass really. So better keep your screen protectors on unless you want to permanently see micro scratches, haha.

The screen does get this weird smudge scratch. Hard to describe. Not a real break in the surface bit more like a smudge that's hard to wipe away

I use the double full cover case + screen protector combo. The Galaxy S24U is a beautiful phone, and the bare screen is just too good, but im on the clumsier side, so... yeah, I'm taking the combo. Had the S23U before this one, and I had to visit Samsungs's terrible sat and went 2 - 0 on damaged creen (only the glass, never the panel), and it was still 350€ each 🤧

I’ve had a case on my 15Pro, but that’s because I add a piece to the back of it for a magnetic dash mount (I’m a trucker, it runs my GPS app, so it’s gotta be on the dash). I’ve not had a screen protector on it and the screen is fine. Now, it’s not oleophobic anymore because I used windex once, but lessons learned!

That said, my 24 Ultra was delivered today and hopefully I’ll be set up with it soon. I don’t do screen protectors, but I also try to treat these things like what they are: $1k+ pieces of art disguised as technology. 😂

I take care of my phone's too, then I left it on the back of my truck, got a phone call and hour later that someone found my phone on the road. Thank God for the Good Samaritan, got some small scratches on the frame and corner of glass as well as scratches on the metal camera rings, however it was in a case. I still think it passes trade in quality to Samsung
