You know what’s funny? I came across your book haul (the waterstones one) a while ago, and it was the very video that made me go ‘omg I want to know everything about your reading preferences etc’ and made me think of the book tag!! Read American gods by Neil gaiman and let me know if you like that better. It’s absolutely his best book and very different than what you’ve read of his.

The Thursday Murder Club was the first book I read this year and it was by far the worst.
I liked the characters initially but they started to become cantankerous and entitled. The ending, as you said was an utter disaster. It was poorly written. I don't know how he's written 3 more books. 🤔

I went to a video store with my dad and got a horrible video and actually talked to the actor 30 year's later... 🧟
