I’m 43, and I have not had a song make me feel the way this song does since my early 20s. I feel it in every fiber of my being, in my heart, in my soul, down to my bones! My beautiful daughter passed away suddenly, on June 11th, 2024, she is 24YO. She has non verbal autism and epilepsy. She had a seizure that took her life. I never planned for this, I was planning her life for when I pass away, someday. God I miss her terribly, every sec of every day. It's been 8 days already and it feels like it's just been one long day, to me. This song was a song I used to sing to her, dont take away my beautiful things, well she is my everything in this life. I left the radio on in her room, like always. This song played a lot before, but it plays a ton now and I'm so thankful. When I hear it play, I run into her room and WE DANCE, JUST LIKE WE ALWAYS DID AND ALWAYS WILL. I MISS YOU SO MUCH MONKEY. THANK YOU FOR MAKING ALL OF OUR LIVES SO VERY BEAUTIFUL. YOU ARE MEMORABLE. Benson, when this came out I was homeless, in and out of jail, and unhealthy. Now I have a house, a good job, and a husband. This song and “Clover Cage - The Secret Of Life” are the two songs that helped with my depression. I just want everyone to know things will get better. We are in this together. I love you 💕
