4:35 I get what she’s saying but “4 weeks pregnant” means it’s been 4 weeks since your last PERIOD. You could’ve gotten pregnant two weeks prior and be considered 4 weeks pregnant.

When the doctor says congratulations you are 4 weeks pregnant it does not mean you conceived 4 weeks ago. At the moment of conception you are considered to be 2 weeks pregnant so 4 weeks pregnant means you conceived 6 weeks ago. And when she said she was with the other guy two weeks before this guy, well that makes perfect sense that it is the other guys. When a woman has two different partners and couple of weeks before she finds out she is pregnant she should ask the doctor when she conceived not how far along she is. Most women are too embarrassed to ask about when conception occurred, they worry about what the doctor will think of them when they should be worried about getting the date of conception right.

From what i read they do this way of dating a pregnancy because you generally do not know exactly when conception occurred so they consider the approximate date of conception to make you 2 weeks pregnant. Which makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever. Since they do not know when conception occurred why not consider the approximate date of conception to be the date of conception instead of making it two weeks pregnant? Ridiculous.
