#NeetaSinghal explains What Yantra is, what are its types, properties and benefits of worshipping a Yantra. Yantra referred to as ‘Mandalas’. They are geometrical figures, diagrams or symbols which are characterized by simple forms in design.
The literal meaning of #Yantra is “to control, curb, bind or influence". Yantra in Sanskrit signifies the chant that awakens energy when placed anywhere in the environment around. These Vedic diagrams have stronger astronomical esthetics and are the ultimate reality. They can be inscribed in 3 dimensional forms on a plain surface or used as an amulet or as a charm. Adi Sankaracharya's Saundarya Lahiri has done an ascendancy work on Yantras.
You may use Yantra in the following ways: You may meditate on the Yantra to achieve resonance with the divine deity energy, ruling that particular Yantra. You may install it on your desk or wall or the altar or near the entrance. You may even place it in your vehicle. It creates a force field and charges the environment. You may wear it as a pendant, bracelet, ring or tabeez. You may even carry Yantra with you in your wallet (make sure that wallet is not of leather).
The vibrations of the Yantra will create an aura of positive energy around you. Yantras can be drawn or painted on paper, engraved on metal, or on any flat surface. A popular form of Yantra is the Sri #Chakra or Sri Yantra, which represents goddess Tripura Sundari and also Shiva to depict the totality of creation and existence.
