I have the green one with the premium nib. One of my favorites

I follow a YouTuber who does use the reverse writing. She uses the broader side of the nib for her writing and I think she said she uses the reverse writing when she's writing numbers and wants to keep things fine and clear.

These student pens are some of my favorites. I own four of them now and use them a lot. I'm pretty sure mine are all medium nibs and they write so smoothly.
