First blue Moon - 1st. October 2020 (LIVE-cut)

A blue moon is an additional full moon that appears in a subdivision of a year: either the third of four full moons in a season, or a second full moon in a month of the common calendar.
The first of October’s full Moons rises on Thursday, October 1, reaching peak illumination at 10.06 P.M. CEST (it won’t be visible until after sunset, however). October’s second full Moon rises on Halloween—Saturday, October 31—and hits peak illumination at 04:51 A.M. CET
The phrase in modern usage has nothing to do with the actual color of the Moon, although a visually blue Moon (the Moon appearing with a bluish tinge) may occur under certain atmospheric conditions – for instance, if volcanic eruptions or fires release particles in the atmosphere of just the right size to preferentially scatter red light.
Vollmond am 1. und 31. Oktober 2020 - Phänomen wird „blauer Mond“ genannt. Durch die Länge eines Mondzyklus ist es am wahrscheinlichsten, dass ein „Blue Moon“ in einem Monat mit 31. Tagen zu sehen ist. Im Februar - der entweder 28 oder 29 Tage hat - ist ein zweiter Vollmond dagegen unmöglich.
