I love this part because it’s just… perfect. If you listen closely to the lyrics, it basically foreshadows the climax, while also kind of being like how she killed Brandon.
“Fire away fire away,
Ricochet, you take your aim,
Fire away fire away” (Brandon stealing her from Cady and ripping her clothes off, could also represent Gemma trying to attack M3gan)
“You shoot me down, but I won't fall

Megan was practically indestructible, only being defeated when she was taken apart all together.

You could also take into account the rest of the song as well.
“You shout it loud, but I can't hear a word you say
I'm talking loud, not saying much”
In the climax, Gemma repeatedly requests Megan to shut down to no avail, and also Gemma tells her friend that Megan was really vague in her words, thus, she was talking loud but didn’t say much.

“I'm criticized, but all your bullets ricochet
You shoot me down, but I get up”
The criticism in question was Gemma talking about shutting down Megan due to her connections to the murders.
Moving onto verse 2.

“Cut me down, but it's you who'll have further to fall”
This could be Megan mocking Gemma, saying that no matter what she did, she’d stay with Cady at her grandparents’ house, and especially if Gemma died.

“Ghost town and haunted love”
It’s a “ghost town” because everyone who hurt Cady would all be dead, and “haunted love” because of Megan’s sick obsession with her.

“Raise your voice, sticks and stones may break my bones”
Although she could be damaged, she’d still manage to be able to reach her goal; Protect Cady from all harm.

I might be looking too deep into this, but I thought it was a really clever song choice.
