I bought this recently and the motor was burnt within 2 days. I hardly ran it for 5-6 hours. After some efforts, Amazon agreed to give a replacement unit. So far it's good. They have mentioned service centre replacement.

I wish plastics used had good finishing. Average fit and finish. That's the only con.

Air throw is good and I think Bajaj DMH will have slightly better air flow.

Hard to clean
Fan motor is aluminium winding
Mera 1 saal baad jaam ho gaya tha fir sahi karwaya shaft change hua ab theek chal raha hai but humidity hone par earthing aane lagte hai isme

I am assuming this is sponsered video considering this cooler has popped on my timeline through many YouTubers. This is not new product that crompton is sending for people to check or review so my assumption. now ofcourse i can be wrong. Sad part is very few mention sponsored even if it is sponsored. still I think having watched your videos you do fair reviews and give all information so I do have some trust on your opinions. Its also great to see how your channel has exploded when i watching long back it was little channel. so kudos on that.

Having said everything i have question for you. just yesterday i watched your cooler comparison video since i want to purchase one do you still stand by your verdict in that video about symphony sumo being number 1? My requirement is for Living room which big plus has open access to kitchen now i can try use curtain near entrance to kitchen to not waste cooling but yesterday in your video you said Sumo XL cooled even your big living room with dining room and kitchen.
Mosquito net on crompton and closing louvers are good and usefull features but I read comments and people said mosquito net is hindering air flow.

Agreed. Definately, this Cooler apparently seems to be the best in the market for it's features. But certain technical/non technical details to be missing as under:
a) Is the Fan BLD
b) Is the Motor BLDC
c) What are the Fan RPM's at its various settings
The above determine drawn electrical units saved WHEN COMPARED TO A NON BLDC MOTOR.
d) Do the Castors have screw floor level balancing feature
e) What are Spares and Service availabilities in tier 1 & 2 Cities, especially replacements of the Honeycomb filters as the dimensions / fit may be proprietary specific to that particular Model and, therefore, usually unavailable when needed.

I am using this since 4 years and actually bought 100L in just ₹10500 (Feb 2020). I think i am eligible for providing my genuine feedback:



*Okay for bedroom but not recommended for hall. No chilling effect*

Writing review after 4 years of usage. I have installed it outside the window with shade.

Summary:
- Not recommended
- No chilling experience
- Not for mid summer as it fails to deliver enough cooling
- Okay for a small room but not for hall area

Pros:
1. Low noice and low maintenance
2. Durable body and nice design
3. Good functions like auto rotate front vent, Auto drain back valve helps take out water without much efforts
4. Auto intake water if you add a dedicated pipe. Auto shutdown water pipe when level reached high so you don't need to worry about keep filling water
5. 100 litter is more than enough

Crons:
1. Can't compare with local duct cooler of same price because of its low fan speed
2. Doesn't cool as expected like local metal body cooler
3. Any duct cooler with less then its price would be a best option than this one if you need chilling experience. This cooler doesn't give you chilling experience
4. Can't even provide enough cooling in high temperature in mid summer even if you are standing 2 feets from it.
5. Cleaning from inside is headache. The outer design is best in class but inner design is extremely bad. You can't just take off one of the side panel because all assibly is hardcoded with it using screw. Even water motor controller is embedded with it which is impossible to take out without expert level skills like a electrician.
6. It cut of my hand/ and fingures twice while cleaning inner trunk as the plastic is very sharp at the bottom and you can't just rub it using cloath to cleanup.

I bought it because I afraid my little baby keep touching it in balcony and metal body cooler can have earthing issue but this is safe because of durable plastic body. I don't see any other advantages than this one.

Yes this is the best cooler, I am using Crompton optimus and Crompton ozone both and my friend is using symphony sumo 75 and best results is given by Crompton optimus 100...good air flow, chilled my 150 sq feet room in 42°, no humidity where in ozone and sumo 75 air flow is not so cool and humidity is also high as compared to optimus

I have been using this cooler for 3 years . This is good.
Problem faced
1. Cleaning of this coller is very difficult.
2 . Observing problem in motor after 3 year. It stuck after running for 1 hr.

Jaise hi aap koi product first two rank wale products recommend karte hain.. Companies inke price increase kar dete hain 500 se 3000 Rs tak... Aapko ye baat apnii video mein ye baat companies ko bni chahiye... Maine aapka video dekh k ye cooler lene ka mann banaya par amazon or flipkart pe ye 15500 se neeche ka ab mil hi nahi raha.. Kabhi kabhi tob amazin wale iss cooler ka rate 17000 aur 21000 kar dete hain.. Maine isse kahin aur se order kiya hai 14200 mein.. Afsos ye hai ki aapka affilaite link use karke purchase nahi kar paaya kyu ki price bahot hi zyada badha diya tha...

Is cooler ko balcony ki khidki me hi laga sakte hain ya room ke andar bhi laga sakte hain??

Usse uski cooling pe koi farak padega kya??

Normal iron ka desert cooler to kewal khidki me lagane ke liye hi hota hai, room ke andar rakhne se uska cooling effect khatam ho jaata hai, balki wo aur umas create karta hai.

Aisa hi symphony ke room cooler me bhi hota hai. Wo garmiyon ki shuruaat me to kaargar rehta hai, lekin jab garmi aur umas badhti hai, tab wo useless ho jaata hai, us samay normal khidki wale desert cooler hi kaam aate hain.

Normal desert cooler aur iski functioning principle me kya difference hai??
