My cousin, Sheldon Rosen (RIP), was the equipment manager for Mountain. Previously, he managed Bartholomew +3 in Montreal and then joined Mountain alongside his friend Corky. Great memories.

They are comparing life to a Nantucket Sleighride. I think... For whoever don't know, a Nantucket Sleighride is a whale of a ride. The ships let boats down on the water when they saw whales. The guys in the boats harpooned whales and then went on a Nantucket Sleighride until the whale gave up. Yup, that's life. I'm pushing 70 and I lived through the best of times and music. In England we were blown away by an American band - Mountain in the early 70's, and we were not starved of talented musicians then, Clapton, Davies, Winwood etc. But for some reason that big guy with a big voice and a big talented band has always stayed in my mind. No replacement.

I saw Mountain for the first time in 1970. I took this girl who i was dating, and later married. The place was filled with smoke (the good kind) she asked me what that smell was. I told her to just breath in deep. Love Mountain and always will.
