My great old friend passed away today. I'm playing this song for him. He showed it to me when we first met, it was his favourite song.

My cousin, Sheldon Rosen (RIP), was the equipment manager for Mountain. Previously, he managed Bartholomew +3 in Montreal and then joined Mountain alongside his friend Corky. Great memories.

Just turned 70 and still enjoy putting my ear buds in and doing a couple of hits of dab and remembering days gone by parting to this...

still listening after 50 years, best break down ever on a live performance. This still is nuts and I'm not even stoned.

Seventy-five years old and I'm still digging this. Just wish I had a room with very large speakers that I could play very loudly and some good hash to smoke.

They are comparing life to a Nantucket Sleighride. I think... For whoever don't know, a Nantucket Sleighride is a whale of a ride. The ships let boats down on the water when they saw whales. The guys in the boats harpooned whales and then went on a Nantucket Sleighride until the whale gave up. Yup, that's life. I'm pushing 70 and I lived through the best of times and music. Thanks Leslie and crew.

In England we were blown away by an American band - Mountain in the early 70's, and we were not starved of talented musicians then, Clapton, Davies, Winwood etc. But for some reason that big guy with a big voice and a big talented band has always stayed in my mind. No replacement.

I saw Mountain for the first time in 1970. I took this girl who i was dating, and later married. The place was filled with smoke (the good kind) she asked me what that smell was. I told her to just breath in deep. Love Mountain and always will.
