I’m white but I was raised by a single Mom who had to work three jobs for us to get by. We lived in an apartment complex and I met an older black guy. I was 12 he he was 24. He had just finished college and was picked by the Vikings. He blew his knee in camp and back then ( 70’s) that was that. He comes up starts shooting hoops and ends up be my dad like figure. He taught me about racism. All kinds. He said his dad was a drunk and hated white people. I asked him why and he said I have no idea. Anyway this entire thing with CC turned into a race issue the minute she started in the WNBA. Trust me I was taught early how to spot it and stay away from it. She is a victim of it. I also see black people, Chinese people, Jewish people and many more discriminated against period it makes my stomach turn.
