'Get out of here': Donald Trump Jr clashes with MSNBC reporter at RNC

Donald Trump Jr. has clashed with MSNBC's Jacob Soboroff during a tense exchange at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.

Soboroff questioned Trump Jr about former President Trump's immigration policies and his reputation as a "divisive figure".

Trump Jr defended his father’s record, blaming the media for creating divisiveness, citing "lies about Russia collusion".

"They lied about Russia, Russia collusion, they said he was a traitor, they went after him in every which way possible," Trump Jr said.

Soboroff asked if Trump planned to reintroduce family separations in immigration policy if re-elected, denying it began under Obama.

"It’s MSDNC, so I expect nothing less from you clowns, even today," Trump Jr retorted.

"Even 48 hours later, you couldn’t wait, you couldn’t wait with your lies and with your nonsense, so just get out of here."
