Polymeters 7 against 5 against 3

Hi guys!

Here's a little tutorial for a 5 vs 7 vs 3 polymeter! (The 7 being actually a 14)
This can be also seen as a 42 vs 15 vs 70 polyrhythm taking place in a very long bar (if I happened to play only the first note of each pattern)

Philip Maniez first told me about this fun poly.
Enjoy!

To anyone that would like the related DRUMS SHEET

An already-written sheet gives the answer. It's by trying to write it yourself that you will understand how things interlock together and that you'll make some concrete progress! Don't hesitate to DM me on instagram so I can check if you got it right.
But if you don't wanna bother, you can buy it straight away on my website:

I'm going to learn this, either by practice, or by her sending it into my soul with her eye lasers.

I know that look in your eyes. That's the “the counting voices in my head are at war ALL of the time”.

see a lot of people sayin "my brain hurts". yeah, but remember that it is like a muscle: it hurts, but as it heals it gets stronger

Came for polyrhytms, stayed for the madness in the eyes.
Those beats work sooo nicely between 1:34 - 1:38

It's incredible, because when you become insanely good at drumming and start playing rhythms like this, is when outsiders become convinced you can't drum at all

I understood everything you played. I can't play it for shit.

When your internal clock is set to GMT, PST and WST and you still know when the sun will rise.

Well done! Love it!

I simply must say "Thank You"...I'm a long time drummer and musician, who happens to also teach at times, and I am impressed by your simple, no nonsense approach, WITH A GREAT SMILE, to your potential prospects. I'm older than most on line and my heroes were Art Blakely, Gene Krupa and later Phil Collins and Neil Peart, Billy Cobham was a GOD. I would have loved to have an instructor of your grace as a young person. I may have turned out better as a human being.

Working drummer of 6 decades here, Superb Rhythmic Prowess !!!

Gotta be honest - as a bassist, it amazes me that drummers are able to track so many rhythms with separate parts of their bodies.

Edit: I can't even spell, much less play poly rhythms with all four appendages.
