When you write a program, you write it in high level languages, and then the compiler will compile your code into binary. In order to run it, the OS will load it to memory. And when it is executing, we call it a process. So a process is a program in execution. A program can have many processes.
A thread is a unit of execution of a process. One process can have one or multiple threads.

2.Termination of thread does not effect other thread
3.Termination of process will effect the threads to terminate
