A horror movie disguised as a romantic dramdy.

They had to create a class system here on the space ship too. Humans will progress scientifically but still find a way to belittle each other.
Surprising thing is he's smart enough to fix the flaw in the ship and save everyone, he creates a hibernation pod out of a medical pod and he's going on opening the ship with his tools wherever and whenever but can't find a way to make that machine give him gold class breakfast by manipulating some switches.

Premise of the movie was interesting, I think they should have stuck to one plot instead of two. Movie was lot more interesting when It was just about the guy stranded in a space station.

Funny thing is: considering the speed with which computers and devices evolve, the IT equipment in the cargo hold will be well and truly obsolete by the time they reach their destination. In fact, compared to constant development on Earth, said equipment was already 30 years old, and obsolete, when Jim was awoken. I mean, the colonists could still use it because it's what they're used to, but if another expedition were to commence, by the time that second expedition arrives, the technology on Homestead 2 will be 120 years old. Unless the expeditions are sent out fairly regularly to avoid said anachronisms. 🤔
