Join us as we use GoPort to shuttle to the ship, hop onboard, tour our ocean view cabin, check out the changes in the aft of Deck 9, boogie at the sailaway party, then enjoy an embarkation evening filled with the Showdown game show, Welcome Aboard show, live music in Duke's Piano Bar, and more shenanigans!! :D

We're heading back to Florida for a triple cruise marathon, and up first... it's Carnival Elation! We sailed from January 27-31, 2022 on an 4-night Bahamas itinerary that was supposed to stop in Nassau and Princess Cays, but ended up with Freeport as a substitution... let's do this thing!

Do love the decor with the wood and the Art Deco vibe. Gives it more originality than the more modern and slick designs.

We were on the Elation in 2018 for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The grand suite with extended balcony was worth every penny!

My first cruise ever was on the Fantasy Class Ship. It was the Fascination! Honestly I dislike the ship! It was small and I felt every wave in the ocean. That ship had me walking sideways. I promised God and all of his angels I would not sail a small ship again and I didn't. So, let me say this ParoDeeJay you make ever ship experience a fun one and that is what enjoy the most. I can't travel right now because of work. However, when I have Spring Break and my big summer vacation I hope to be able to travel like you! I really enjoy your excursion too! Thanks so much for showing your good times. I feel like I am traveling with you!

Elation was our first cruise ever (out of Jacksonville) in 2018, so I'm a little partial to it! :) Enjoy your cruise!

If you're flying into Orlando and heading out to Canaveral the day before your cruise, like most people, Go Port is only helpful if you stay in a hotel included in their package.

If you have your own hotel booked outside of their package and all you need is shuttle from MCO to Port Canaveral the day _before_ the cruise and then shuttle from Canaveral back to MCO the day the cruise ends, good luck.

This brings back memories of my first Carnival Cruise on the Elation 12 years ago. Love the New York theme decor with the Chrysler Building and Statue of Liberty head. Wow...I just cried a little. 🤣🤣🤣
