Something awesome is augment protections can be found sometimes in the treasure shop for SG. If you're wondering how to get free SG, I would recommend CM3 in base pso2. You can get up to 500 sg weekly free if you have a good group and one character per ship.

Thank you for putting the important notice about doing multiple augments with the augment item protection in the video. Had it not been there, I would have been screaming in this comment. Anyway, that was some unlucky RNG, man. I used the Mastery IV S capsule I got from the pack in SG shop, so I could skip this gamble altogether. However, I have that forward for me with Gigas IV. Watch me fail that 95% chance multiple times in a row.

Wait, but you could have just run the mastery 4 and the rest of the augments and apply the 30% chance boost and protection at the first go right? It would have been safer that way plus you can reduce the number of all other augments from 10 to maybe 7 or 8 to save some bits of it.

Welp, that stung. Dudu is still haunting us from the grave, for sure. I'm still saving up for the future and use the more affordable capsules instead. I only have maybe a few Augment Protection capsules myself since I really didn't want to spend 200SG+ on each of them.

For now, I'm still stacking up and once I'm looking at content that I want to heavily invest on, then I'll start working more towards getting BiS stuff. Since I'm using almost all Classes across 3 characters and having another character on Ship 4, I really need to know when I can start overgearing. Cause it's gonna be expensive once that happens :P

I got my Mastery 4 S on sg shop, I think people should check that one too regularly. I think it resets everyday

Yeah. Gambled some gigas might 4s the other day. I had 20 but wanted to get it on 3 pieces I still only got it on 2 after allot of fails. Was pretty triggering ngl. I think these super expensive augs could use rework to be more successful imo.

I'm sorry for your loss I had similarly bad luck about ~10 weeks ago, I now just don't trust those augmentation item protections. to me the sg is better spent on the mastery4S capsules that were released in the past and I will be ignoring them until something big and insanely hard to make is released like an NGS version of Guardian Soul. The SG I wasted collecting those was easily around 1600+ SG that I should've put towards the SG scratches and S capsule packs.

Sorry about your luck! That was rough. I'm only confused as to why you didn't add ALL the augments you wanted on the thing and THEN use the protection and stuff. I feel like you could have used less total upgrading items had you used the protection when doing ALL of your augments at once. I try to never use a 20 or 30% booster unless im adding multiple augments at once, that way they all benefit from said booster. Save materials that way. Anyways, thanks for making the video and showing us that even the big dogs can have bad luck with RNG. You took it like a champ though.

I was so shocked when mine succeeded the first try!! I was putting all my augments on mine and I had 1 Mastery IV and was like I wonder....and surprise it worked!! Lol
