Formula is cow milk. Dehydrated with a bunch of added stuff. Gen X was given evaporated milk with Karo syrup. Start a garden now too!

Can you imagine all the low income momma's on WIC and they only allow you one specific kind. Plus not all stores accept WIC. Also how do you get it if you can't afford it? All I know is my daddy always told me his sister couldn't drink breast milk and so they raised her on goat and cow milk with karo syrup in it! I remember my last little one was having issues with formula and my daddy passed in 2011 and so I went to ask my uncle. He said to do cow milk with a teaspoon of Karo! It cleared it right up and he wasn't spitting up or having horrible poops anymore. I definitely wouldn't use this as a permanent solution, but if you get in a pinch. Also if you have a baby that has issues with lactose in the formula, then definitely don't give them cows milk or it'll tear them up. But for an older baby maybe 6mos or older then you could do it in a pinch! But I'll definitely say a prayer for all the momma's with tiny little ones cuz mine are all off formula now, but I'd have had a heart attack thinking about not having what they need to survive!

Moms who are able to breast fed will become a full time pumping machines and share their supply. No mother would want any baby to starve 😕. Like they said the women will come together ❤.

To ALL the mother's out there. Don't panic. Buy some goat milk and dilute it. This is what you're great grand parents gave your grandparents before formula. And we are ALL fine. None of us got sick. Nor did we die.

I know in years back before formula can milk like carnation evaporated milk was used I ran out one night and I felt guilty and found out years later they actually used for formula

I am a foster parent to a 9 month old. I receive no cash subsidy from the state. They pay for formula, 2 boxes of cereal and baby food. I am on a formula safari everyday, and my anxiety continues to grow. I thought I would be able to find the 3rd formula option provided by the pediatrician, but I cannot find that formula either. Because WIC only allows one formula brand and type, I am out of pocket $600 since our prescribed formula was recalled. This month will be the 3rd month of paying cash for formula for my foster child.
