I rate Midgard as 10/10 as well - it is an incredible third party setting. The 5e Southlands Worldbook - which is part of the same setting - is also 10/10.

I really like this book. At some point I plan on putting my players through a Midgard campaign. I’ll be checking out some of their other supporting books for the setting. First I have to check the bookshelf to see what I already own.

I wonder what the difference is between this 2021 version and the earlier "5e and Pathfinder" edition (that I have the PDF for)? Presumably 1 difference is removal of the PF part, but anything substantial meriting upgrading to getting this new one (e.g., timeline has moved significantly forward, changes to regions or areas/cities)? Great review/page through. LOVE all the maps I saw throughout!

They must've added the page gloss in later reprint runs. Mine is just plain, but thick, paper.

Wow-what an intro! Yes, I am worried that these 3rd party books are just LONGER and not really BETTER than the WotC books. So, how does it compare to Tal'Dorei, Rise of the Drow, Ptolus, Venture Maidens (not out yet), and ... Hmmm, what is a comparable world book from WotC?
