seneye - how to... resize widgets

I almost bought a Seneye. But then I saw that you have to change slides on a monthly basis and activate them with a code. Similar to a subscription for a lot, I think.
Why you have to activate a slide? it should be well able to measure anyway?
And that means I have to have internet on the computer I measure with?
Would like to have it just to get the values ​​into the computer rather then via the internet!
No no Seneye for me!!
