A lot of people question why Izuku isn't here; is because Aizawa knows he doesn't get into trouble without a reason. Aizawa's "annoyance" towards Izuku in the show during the initial days of UA was purely because he kept hurting himself and throwing himself in danger without caution. As the show progresses; Aizawa becomes one of Izuku's greatest motivators.
