The music in Super Metroid gave the game such an atmospheric feel to it. Super Metroid is in my opinion one of the greatest games ever made.

I will never understand the dislike Maridia gets. After all these years it remains my favorite area and my favorite music. Just hearing this track takes me back to being a kid playing through the game over and over in my grandparents backroom.

When you think about it again, maridia is terrifying! It's practically pitch black, and it would be like if you walked out of the house into the midnight zone if the sea! Thank the developers for adding in light!

I love how haunting this theme is. Whereas the underwater theme in Prime (Crashed Frigate) was ethereal and peaceful, this one feels desolate.

Makes you feel as though something sad and dreadful happened, or as though you're figuring out a mystery. This song would be great in a darker episode of Scooby-Doo.

Also could be a broken down, or sad, dire, and terribly, awfully, eerie carnival. You know know, like one of those carnivals that are at night and give off an creepy and eerie vibe.

Long long ago I was playing Super Metroid without a guide and I was looking for the suit that allowed you to breathe and move in water....I looked and looked getting frustrated to no end up to the point where I ended up punching my wall hitting a stud in the process and breaking my hand....I eventually beat it but after that I remember playing Metroid Fusion with a broken hand, haha.
