Have you thought about using your shop vac to power a vortex dust collector sitting on top of a plastic bin? That way the dust ends up in the bin and not your shop vac.
Mine is set up like this and works like a charm.👍

Good job. FYI for others; silicon is bad idea for sealant (maybe okay for the lil he used) but it will break off into media and touch your parts then paint will not stick. Also buy a cheap cyclone dust collector for a bucket before vac, otherwise the media will eat the bearings out in no time flat.

I have a similar snap on cabinet I picked up but it’s missing the pick up tube down bottom and can’t seem to find one. Can you share a pick of yours?
