Poor George//ShadowPeach//LMK Animatic

Hi!!
Long time no see 😅
Lately I was busy with life but it didn’t stop me from working (sometimes with long breaks) on this animatic. I'm proud to present to you a finished thing.

I watched the LEGO Monkie Kid a while back, and I just had to do something with these guys! The characters are Sun Wukong and Six eared Macaque.These monkeys live in my head rent free. I'm OBSESSED (send help 😂)

If you have not seen it I highly recommend! The show has great animation, it's funny and it has depressed monkeys. What more do you want?

Anyway it was a great change from what I usually draw (I didn't leave Eddsworld don't worry)

I love the lack of color, you put in enough to tell the story and who is who, theres no concern for coloring in things perfectly when just a few colors are good to tell the full picture

This is exactly one of the main points why I love this animatic, JJTW AND LMK. It's not like other shows in a way which is really fresh. And I love how LMK still kept the part where both parties will never truly be able to recover but they work together to learn from it and help others and patch up. Universe/10

0:59 is my favorite part omg. It has so much character in it how swk acts all casual and then dramatically dodges because macaque shoots at him. It’s funny, it’s also accurate to them, and it shows that macaque isn’t willing to deal with swk’s antics. It’s also just really fun to watch the poses and expressions. I sound insane talking about a 3 second animation but I just think it’s neat!!!! And I watch it over and over again

Con "Poor George" creo que se refiere a los dos. Ya que los dos están igual de heridos sentimental y físicamente, ambos tienen traumas parecidos por así decirlo, ambos sufrieron y ambos cometieron errores y cosas terribles o malvadas que se arrepintieron de hacerlas.

I am damn near speechless. This is some phenomenal work, and the effort and love you’ve put into this truly shows! every frame is such a treat to the eyes and every little detail i can’t help but stare at.
I don’t commonly comment on animations, but this one caught my full attention. The impact frames on their fight when Macaque took MK’s powers made my eyes widen, and the reveal of his scar in the same scene made my jaw dropped.

there is something so appealing about your art, but i don’t think it’s just ‘something’, i think it’s any and everything; the way you draw hands is very clean and is super on point. The way you draw hair is so satisfying to see. And your sense of anatomy is something i can’t help but admire to the fullest extent!

I’m so glad you worked on an incredible project like this for a show i adore! your content and art is one that feels similar to that of the first crisp breeze in autumn, and has the impact of a lightning strike. That’s not easy to do.

You are seriously talented beyond words. I hope you’re able to create more content that you get to enjoy in the future !! :D ❤️

I love your art style and especially the way you draw their side profiles and 3/4 view like i always struggle with drawing their noses/faces overall from diff angles but you’re really consistent and it looks great
