I remember having an argument with my son's mother and her saying that I "GET" to go to work everyday. At the time I was so stressed out about my job that I had developed irritable bowel syndrome and would have to rush to the bathroom every time I tried to leave the house for work. The kicker for me was that she not only knew about this but was the one who pointed it out to me and suggested that I visit a doctor. Ultimately, that comment is what destroyed our relationship. It opened my eyes to how selfish she is not only with me but towards my son as well.

I think the issue is that Woman think they don't owe anything back other than lackluster gestures. Men are comfortable being the provider in the relationship, but Woman want it all, as it suites them.

Whoa. Definitely a hot take. Saying that women who work, especially mothers, are being selfish. I don't agree with her, or the hosts who obviously agree with her, on that one. My wife and I both work full time, and we have to, to be able to afford housing, education costs for our young children, and possibly save enough to retire down the line. Calling her selfish for working, when that is what our family needs, is a bit rich. I'm not saying all women should work, nor all men. But each family should be able to do what works best for them without such nasty judgement.
