Thanks Jason! I'm in the process of making a slug swage myself. We have a similar approach - make a wood model and see what materials at hand can be used. I made power grinding attachments (a repurposed angle grinder and a mount for my Makita router) for my lathe.

The plan is to create a .22 caliber custom shaped reamer out of a tap to reshape a stepped pilot hole in the die.

Yours's is one on the nicest designs I've seen - wish that you had showed the pivot mechanism in more detail - maybe you could post a couple of pictures or a quick video of the working parts and send a link.

Hi Jason thx for the reply bud yes I tried through them but been trying to find someone that make there own which aren't has expensive has you canbuy the pro kit through corbin but they are to expensive that's why I would prefer to get someone who can make their own die and go buy there price has corbins have all the other items I just wouldn't need anyway thx for the reply
