Scholomance - Gold Challenge Mode Guide with Commentary

This is a video guide of a Scholomance challenge mode Gold clear, with commentary explaining the run. I discuss our overall route through the zone and strategy used, but with some slant toward issues relevant to the healer. In general the focus of the video is to provide useful information for people attempting to achieve Gold; people attempting Silver or Bronze won't need to make use of all the tactics we demonstrate here, but will still benefit from the discussion of the various mechanics in the zone.

While Regrowth is inefficient, Druids don't have much of any other way to pour healing into a single target. Nourish and HT aren't appreciably better in any way that would make it an improvement to use them. You can actually see in the early videos (maybe only the Scarlet Halls one) that I try to work in HT more, but that faded as I went on since there's no particular benefit to it.

The gear difference due to gems is very tiny. Wear the better gear as you get it, but for challenge modes by far the most important thing is to find a group and get started practicing them.

Addon's called OmniCC shows Cooldowns of all your spells and abilities.

It adds a small amount of DPS against Darkmaster Gandling.

I'm tanking these paladin, should. Get fully tot geared for the gems and expertise, or won't it matter because it reduces it anyway, will it allways make it the same, or if I ge well geared will I be abit better geared in there than normal ?

why don't you use the start on Jandice where you have dps stacking behind the wall out of the room? it makes her images just de-spawn and she runs back to you i thought this strat was known for a long time

As a druid, do you still need to have invis potions? Or could you have used prowl?

As I've watched all of your videos, I realize now your mana is irrelevant considering you can mana-up whenever.
