I own Twin power SW5000XG and when i grab spool it goes for a 1mm up so i wonder is that normal? Reel is brand new, fish 5 times only...pls help

For a new reel aka Stella 2019 and required an angler to use a finger to back up a drag is just shown that it is a bad reel. For a Shakespeare reel, it makes a lot of sense to use a finger due to the horrible drag system, but what does $1000 reel tell you when you have to use a finger to lock down
