Repotting my BIG fern. Boston fern repot with me!

I will be repotting my large Boston fern.
This outdoor fern will be going from a 10in pot to a 12in pot. Soil used for this repot is “promix” with no amendments.
This plant is kept outdoors in zone 5b.

Hi, Tara! I just found your channel when searching for how to re-pot my huge, root bound Boston fern. Your video was excellent and easy to follow! Like you, I live in the Midwest, so that was an extra incentive to subscribe to your channel. After I finish this project, I'll go back and look through ALL your videos for more tips and instructions! I never had time for plants until I retired and now that I am, my house is FULL of plants...most of which I have no idea on how to truly care for.😁 I'm sure you'll be a big help. Thanks for the video! I see some people dipping their plants in buckets or water before reporting to bet is soak up, I bet that would be good for the fern since that’s where I struggle is watering it!

You should have cut it in fourths and propagated it! Don’t water every day either. Stick your fingers in the soil, if it comes back clean water it. I have 2 fourteen year old Boston ferns that are indoors. I water maybe once a week. They like to be misted every other day tho. 🍃

I’m fixing to repot my Boston Fern for the first time since I’ve had her in two+ years ! I’m on here trying to get some tips, ideas, etc. So how is your Boston Fern reacting/looking since you repotted her? Did you decide to winterize it or what not? Thanks in Advance!! 💚

Mine looks about like yours. Still sends new baby frawns but hasn't got bigger in a minute. Also still in her nursery pot. Idk hoe long to leave it in there.

You use way to many chemicals for someone who is into plants. Flick the beetle off. Very simple.
