Coldplay was formed in 1996 in London by Chris Martin and Jonny Buckland, joined by Guy Berryman and Will Champion. Their debut album, *Parachutes* (2000), was best known for the hit "Yellow." Success continued with *A Rush of Blood to the Head* (2002) and *X&Y* (2005), which featured songs like "Clocks" and "Fix You." *Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends* (2008) brought them to fame with their orchestral style. *Mylo Xyloto* (2011) was pop-oriented, while *Ghost Stories* (2014) was more introspective. With *A Head Full of Dreams* (2015) and *Everyday Life* (2019), they continued to innovate, addressing themes of social and sustainability. Coldplay remains one of the world's leading bands.
