While addressing the topic of constituency development funds, DAP Secretary-General Anthony Loke said Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has invited the opposition to discuss this issue.

Loke said as the nation pushes for reforms, MPs require such funds to catalyze improvements within their own constituencies.

Loke also clarified the DAP's role in government, stating that the party does not singularly make decisions nor dominate the government. Instead, decisions are made collectively by all involved parties.

He said this today at a forum on “Political Stability in Hung Parliament” in conjunction with the launch of the “Malaysia's 15th General Election” Special Issue of the Round Table: The Commonwealth Journal of International Affairs.

Not a dominating force at the moment, so must use humble words to soften people's guard. Once guard is lowered, will dominate full force.

Rendah diri dulu, supaya orang tak benci Dan leka. Pura2 tak mau kuasa. Kalau leka ada peluang dapat kuasa, tengok la nanti cakap apa pulak

What is the view of DAP on jakim being "upgraded" to cabinet level in the decision making process? Were you all CONSULTED at least before the announcement or was it done mahathir style?
