In this video i learned that luck has absolutly nothing to do with sucess. That no matter were you come from you can achieve greatness. I. Also learned to never let anyone bring me down no matter what people think or say

There’s a great saying ‘as a man thinketh, so he is’. Generally this means we
become what we think about.

I love this video.
I see my self here
I think about All the sacrifices my parents do for letting me study,
I think about how many times I saw my mum marked by stress .
She still working 19 hours everyday .
I think about my dad who is always counting money for being sure of arriving at the end of the month.
I think about all the holidays we ever dreamed about but never been on because of the lack of money.
I think about every time I have had the fire in my heart when I  saw my mum looking at those beautiful jewels and she couldn't afford them because money barely covered taxes.
I think about every birthday of mine celebrated and every birthday of my parents never celebrated at least with a little gift.
I think about that Christmas in which my mother was sad because she only could gift me a T-shirt while the other spoiled guys received an I-Pad or something simlar
I didn't care about it, I fuckin loved that T shirt but she wanted me equal to the others, you know
And finally I think about the fact that I'm still here, watching this video
for remind myself the reason for which I work hard
I'm about to make money and have my revenge for all.
Love you mum
Love you dad

It makes you really realize what you don’t have. When you grow up in an area where nobody has anything, you’re kind of all on a level playing field. But when you grow up in a wealthy area where everybody seems to have so much more than you, you know, you know that you don’t have as much as them. You know your parents don’t have as much money. I realize what I don’t have, I realize what I wanted, and I made sure from a very young age that I would succeed at every goal I’ve ever dreamt of.

I love this. I love how he basically says for those people who want to blame success on luck clearly don't understand success and will never have it.

I feel every letter of every word of every sentence. Watch and listen to your speech everyday while living in isolation writing my masterthesis. Struggle is not what you need to do, it's what you get for free from life. Some more than others. It's all about how you handle these free gifts from life. Thank you for this video and be amazing while beeing you!

Seeing my parents work and struggle inspired me to work. I didn’t have the money like everybody else did when they went to University where their parents paid for them, and they had the nice cars, I worked three jobs to put myself through University. I graduated, and till this day I’m so thankful that I had to go through those experiences because it’s those struggles, and those hardships that define me as a person.

I love this video. I watch it literally every single day since I saw it for the first time. I even went to my country for Christmas and made my mum to translate it into Polish - a bit of practice for her :) I am in a similar situation as Josef was. However, since I came to England on my own, almost two and a half years ago I am trying to get a place at the University. Because I am from Poland and I completely changed my mind in terms of a chosed career path, I had to go back to the college. I have to work to support myself financially, I have to study hard. There was also a time when alongside college, work I was volunteering in three different places on the regular basis. Still, I have not progressed into the University, and I may start next September. Lack of progression puts me down and I miss my family so much. But because of this video I gain the courage to carry on. Also, it made me to realize that all those hardships I am going through will (and already do) make me a better person. :) Thanks for sharing !
