I was 15 when the Flume Self-Titled album dropped. It was such an innovative and beautiful record, perfectly conveying my emotions at the time. Ever since, I've been a Flume fan. I love the fact that Flume doesn't drop too often, makes the times when he does all the more special. Listening to Skin during my first years of college, during my first relationship and subsequent breakup made the experience so special. My memories are linked to Flume's tracks, and honestly I wouldn't have it any other way. I still remember the day Hi This Is Flume dropped, I was absolutely speechless yet inside I was bouncing with joy listening to all the unique and fractured soundscapes and new emotions I'd never felt before. Now that I'm in a better place and in a stable relationship, I feel like I can understand Flume from a whole new perspective now. This track, and by extension, this album, perfectly conveys my feelings, and I think I'll be listening to this for years to come. Thank you Flume.

Last spring was ridiculously heavy for me. Grieving the loss of a family member, just split with my twin flame, going through the motions with growing up on top of my existing mental illness. One day, I was riding the subway and this came on my mix and as I exit the station and saw all the life happening around me, all the people walking and going about their life, I realized that everything was gonna be okay and that life truly does go on. I’ll forever be thankful for Harley and for this song.

3:11 this part made me cry like for real. I've loved Flume since his very first album "Flume" lol. All my friends didn't understand any appreciation for melodic arrangements and combining synths in such a dynamic way, and it really threw me in for a loop for a while growing up. Now I'm 23, and a lot of bad shit has been happening in my life recently. I'm slowly getting things back on track, but coming back on YouTube and seeing this premiering right when I decided to go back online just blew my mind. Flume is beyond genius and is always one step ahead. NEVER disappoints! Today my room is clean, I've started cleaning out my fridge for a cleaner diet, and I'm getting back on track with my sleep schedule. And on top of that my bday is in a few days!
