The real cause of Samson’s downfall was Samson himself. You make your own choices. You chose to let people deceive and change you. It’s your own fault. That’s where God comes in. You have to let God control your life in every aspect of what we do. Samson didn’t know where his own strength really lies, so he lost it. You can’t tell everyone everything. That’s where Samson went wrong. He let Delilah deceive him by sweet talk. Watch your tongue. Listen with your eyes are well. Take heed. Anyone can deceive and destroy you if you let them. Psalm 36:3 says: “The words of their mouths are wicked and deceitful, they fail to act wisely or do good”. Love blinded Samson in more ways that one. It can do that to us too if we are not careful. Seek God’s council not man’s. Then you won’t be deceived.
