Fimi X8 SE gimbal error

This video is intended for Fimi customer support only. It will be deleted when Fimi acknowledge the fault and hopefully provide a solution.

I recently purchased this drone and from the go it has an issue with the gimbal. Fimi asked me to provide a video to evidence the fault. As the video file was too large for an attachment to an email, I have uploaded to YouTube.

I had same problem after a little crash. I tried everything for several hours. What was really helping was tapping the gimbal (not the lens) with the back of a screw driver for about 30s. Then it was really working again. I think something was stuck. I checked all cables and connectors but they are fixed really good and had no problem. I coulnd´t believe that tapping helped. The video comments made my day :-)

I did uninstall Fimi Navi on the phone and reinstall it. Now it is working.

I bought a used drone because mine fell but because I had too many extras I decided to get the same one
It makes me the same problem
While it finds satellites, it goes up to 14 it turns out that it can't fly.
I managed to throw it away after calibration but it is unstable and the rixon trembles.
I've seen it and it doesn't have any software upgrade.
What can I do ?

I have had the same issue and there was no solution until I oppened the drone and reconect the sticks of the gimbal. When I did it the gimbal worked properly

Hello, same problem here after a minir crash in soft snow. Problem, when i try the calibration, it says "gimbal motor out of center" any a solution?

if still happened like this, go to settings try to do the compass calibration first then go to gimbal calibration maybe it will help, cause it happened to my drone, and I fix it by doing those steps, try it!!!

So my drone will not go past 45% when I try to calibrate the gimbal. Any fixes I can try. Any help will due.

Hi guys ! Same problem, solved !!! Just disconnect the 3 connectors behind the camera ( 3 connectors stuck with silicon ), reconnect them and ... enjoy !!

mine says GPS error, please restart drone. restarting dosent help. it also says unable to enter GPD mode, please be careful.

Salut j’ai casser la lentille de mon drone fimi x8 se et est ce que tu serai où je pourrai trouver ce verre de la lentille sachant que tout fonctionne parfaitement bien la gimbal marche toujours aussi bien j’ai juste une fissure un peu au milieu de la gimbal quand je regarde les vidéos
