I didn't even start to watch this and already hitted the like button. These are the kind of things that you, as a drummer, are extremely thankful someone made it

I'm a George Way Ambassador and I LOVE these drums. I have a Mahogany drum and it's definitely one of my favorites. I'm thinking about picking up an Aero drum!

"Less is more" applies to these Geo Way snares. No gimmicks or frills. They perform spectacular - very open and articulate. I've played and own a bunch of 'em nd not one of them let me down. Well stated and performed Shane! Glad to see that DCP is kickin ass!

Awesome demo as usual. Shane, I respect all of the knowledge that you have about these drums and the companies. Definitely is a plus to have an insight on the history before making a purchase!

Wow! Fantastic sound from all these drums! That Milkwood snare was real smooth but the Aero is certainly a close second! I'd be happy to use any of the drums here!

My first pick would be the Aero. I love and use aluminum snares the most (my main drum is a LM 400, with a 90’s Acrolite as a trusty go to). I am intrigued by the mahogany, but there was some unpleasant overtones coming through. As was mentioned in a previous post, I really appreciate the simple, straight forward build of these drums. It goes to show that vintage will always be current and hip. Thanks Shane, impressive as always.

Great drums! My favorite was the Aero, then the last drum shown Walnut. What brand heads did you use? All sounded Awesome.

I think the Milkwood snare sounded a bit like maple, but without the Doinky Over Tones.

Walnut for me. Mahagony is most complex with clear overtones on fade, and walnut has the most pleasing overtones to my ears. Question: how would walnut and mahogany compare to cherry in same 14 x 6.5 size?

I have the 6.5 studio. It’s a dark beast. I use it as my ‘big rock drum’. And studio it is. To record is fantastic. It’s a drum that you know you want on ‘that’ song on an album or project. Put Gretsch 302 hoops on it for fun. Meaty.

Milkwood and Aero tied for 1st. The others sounded very good as well.

I liked the first snare drum (Milk wood) best. Then the aluminium, then trad. walnut, and last the studio walnut.
