A Planetary Alignment on January 25?

By now, you might have seen the breathless announcements claiming that all 8 planets in our solar system - Earth included - will be IN A LINE on one side of the sun on January 25, 2025. Is it true? Nope. Why January 25? We have no idea. But there will be 6 planets in our evening sky throughout January. And yes, they're in a line ... like always. Great information- I would imagine with AI you could calculate the theoretical date for a 9 planet line-up, but so much can happen in a billion years.

Yes astrology and astronomy are different because constellations and zodiac signs are different. However, many astrologers have a relationship with the living sky and knowledge about astronomy. Astrologers don’t make up stuff about planets aligning. I don’t know where the memes came from.

Astrology is the mother of astronomy...the thing is that one belongs to physics and the other to the spiritual...oh...and I know some will say that the spiritual doesn't exist or its not measurable...so now explain to me what's dark matter and dark energy then? :)

I’ve studied ancient Hellenistic tropical astrology for a few years and I have no idea what this meme is going around. It must be clickbait for people who are interested in astrology or astronomy but don’t know any better. Unfortunately there’s a lot of that with pop astrology.

We also had some people mistaking bright stars and planets for drones a couple weeks ago! Good grief!

The winter sky in the northern hemisphere has indeed been breathtaking! The crescent moon a couple days ago just beneath Venus was stunning to behold! 💎
