RICK: Let me call a buddy of mine who's an expert in old trains. I mean, there's a lot of fake old trains out there...

This is my favorite segment of this whole series. I am still speechless as to how almost 100% original that car is and the condition it's in

My main concern is that people don't really use trains anymore. Its going to sit for a while. Best I can do is $2, 000

Guy: "I don't know anything about trains, so I thought I'd give you a call."

Rick: "I don't know. Let me call a buddy of mine."

Mark Hall-Patton is a fountain of knowledge and has been a real asset to Rick's show.

Imagine how much the glass case for this would cost

Defin Pullman Standard cars. New York Central used the exact same designed cars. Pullman last built as far as I know the R46 Subway cars still running on NYC Subway lines here in New York. Great company along with Budd Co and St Louis.

God, would love to have come across these cars like this!!! Beautiful cars.
I really hope they were saved!

Those cars are in pretty good shape! The fact that they’re in Vegas has probably kept them in pretty nice shape. It’s pretty hard to keep cars like that looking nice in the northeast.

Instantly I thought of like turning them into like a coffee and donut shop, maybe a souvenir shop or something! Those are sweet!

I’m a Coachbuilder by trade working for the National railway here in Ireland, I worked on the restoration of the President DeValera state coach, it’s not too dissimilar from these cars, so personally, I loved watching this clip and I’m curious to know how it panned out?
