Why is gold so valuable? That jewelry answers the question. Everything else has fallen away or faded in 2, 000 years and those pieces of jewelry are entirely as they fell, shining just as brightly.

Died is a novel way of saying that Boudeccai's husband was murdered, and her and her daughters were assaulted.

Systematic means done in an orderly, process-driven way.

Systemic means relating to a whole system, like the nervous system.

Yes, but it's kinda weird you're showing the Egyptian Fayum portraits from Roman Egypt (Egypt under Roman Rule).. Those are Epytian people during the Roman Empire, not Celtic people under the Roman empire lol.

Fun fact, Colchester at the time was called Camulodunum, and is the likely inspiration for Camelot in Arthurian legend

Why are you showing the Fayum portraits? That "Roman family" (who aren't, btw) have nothing to do with the Fenwick Horde. Or England for that matter. Smh.

Those pictures of the family obviously isn’t the family that was massacred in England. Those are all from the Roman mummy paintings in Egypt. Those are Egyptian Roman citizens, they wouldn’t be in England.

The fayum portraits of Egypt hardly pass for dated roman family in England.

If you’re holding a piece of gold That was crafted into an object at some point, somebody was probably murdered for it

She also killed a ton of native Britons in the process and half the reason she was brought down was because they were all pissed off and joined the Romans after she burned a bunch of their villages down with little to no forethought.

It’s crazy that so many people justify Boudicca massacre of civilians. So you also justify the massacre of civilians in modern wars? Anyway, the bodies weren’t found, so maybe the owners fled. And by the way the portraits are of Egyptian people during the Roman Empire. There are so many paintings and frescoes of Romans, use them.

Boudica was no hero, yes, she got revenge for her two daughters, by killing hundreds or thousands in response. An eye for an eye doesn't work like this, she killed innocent people for what was done to only two, the lives of two do not equal thousands.

Queen Boudicas story is an amazing piece of history.

Yikes and killing a retired soldier and his family is wrong and inhumane 😢

I’d like to know how you know they were murdered? Did you find bones and examine them? Did you know when the gold was buried? So many questions. 🙄

Why are these Coptic portraits being portrayed as your typical Roman?

Queen Boudica's story is a romantic tragedy. Her strength, her vigour and ferocity in avenging her husband, her daughters and her people is legendary across this country and fiercely underlines what it means to be English and British.
