It was my best friend at the Central Park zoo.... My first job in the used to go spend my lunch breaks with him.... I was just a few blocks away, He was so magnificent... So human. We knew each other well. He always came to greet me as I approached and stayed near me .
He used to make fun of the people sending him bad food, he preferred mine.... He used to turn around and show them his large rear end and sent them back the food ...
True story....
Then one day he was gone...I think he was transferred to another zoo...
I still think of him...😢

That gorilla went back to being a year old and probably pooped a little on his fur. He's like, uh oh that's the Universal "pissed off mom voice". Its recognizable and understood across various species. 😂😂😂😂

I love that he describes his mother as "a severe woman, a force of nature". That description is not the words used to describe that personality type in today's day & age! It's refreshing and we need more of those mothers sewn back into the fabric of our society!! ❤
