Yonex Comfort Z & Yonex Infinity 2 Power Cushion Badminton Shoe Review & Comparison

The Yonex Comfort Z and Yonex Infinity 2.0 badminton shoe are premier, high end badminton shoes launched by Yonex in 2022. The Yonex Power Cushion Comfort Z3 have been upgraded for increased durability whilst the Yonex Infinity badminton shoe is the second generation badminton shoes to have BOA dials for convenience and increased control without traditional laces.

I have really enjoyed my experience with the Yonex Infinity 2 badminton shoes, especially its speed of helping me get ready to go onto court whilst the Yonex Comfort Z has been a solid choice in terms of cushioning and stability.

I am using powercushion infinit 1, past 3 yrs and the shoe is still great. Not even a single day i slipped or twisted my foot.
Great shoe worth the money 💰

Thank you so much for the review and discount code!! I just made a purchase for the Yonex Power Cushion Comfort Z3 (Black/Mint) and got about 10% discount! The cheapest price I could find anywhere else, so excited for them to arrive!!

P.S. Currently recovering from a knee injury because I never invested in a good pair of badminton shoes even though I play at least once a week, learnt it the hard way to buy proper shoes but eagerly waiting to recover and get back to the court to try out these shoes and play again!! I miss badminton so much, been over 2 weeks since I played 🥲

I have a 88 dial 1st generation (the one with only 1 BOA dial). Can confirm your statement that BOA system is really addictive. I can even wear it in around 10 seconds. One foot in, the other foot in, tighten it with one hand for each side at the same time, and that's it.

Great insights on the feeling on the infinity shoes. Would have never thought the straps would dig into the feet. Weight, width and height details appreciated as always. Could be more helpful if you gave measurement of height and width though.

Great video! Quality, clarity, and actual help are top notch. I'm curious.. of the Comfort Z3 and the latest Aerus Z, which do you think would provide more cushioning to the ball of the foot? I have joint pain there and use upgraded insoles and such, but having a little extra built into the shoe seems advantageous as well.

Great video CK . Is it possible if you made a video regarding the reason behind mixed tensions on a racket and some cheaper badminton shoes .(keep up the amazing videos)

been enjoying your video, would be awesome if you review on racquet brand such as Felet or even Apacs

wow, my request for an infinity review has finally been granted. very good.

but I ended up buying a power cushion 88 dial with 1 boa in the shoe. maybe you should also try it and compare it. Thank You.

Hi there CK, is the fitting of the comfort z3 similar to 65z3? and to add to that, did you need to choose different shoe sizes between the two shoes?

Hi CK Yew, nice review mate. I couldn't find a difference between infinity 1 and the new infinity 2 in your review. What is the upgrade? And I am seeing some good price reduction on infinity 1, I am thinking about getting a pair. Or do you advise that infinity 2 is better for to buy for a 70+€ more as the upgrade is that worth? Someone who has used both or infinity 1 can also comment on this to help me decide on the shoes? Thanks

Good review CK! I am looking for stability (as I'm slightly flat-footed) shoes. Is Comfort the correct category? Thanks

Thanks for the insightful review! Was wondering, where does power cushion 57 stand amongst all the other power cushion shoes?

Hey CK, I my 65 Z has just broken recently after a long period of use and I am looking at new Yonex shoes. I frequently get anterior ankle sprains when playing, as I find the tongue of the 65 digging into my anterior ankle when I lean forward when changing directions.

Thus, I am currently looking at the Eclipsion and the Comfort Z. Which one would you recommend me?

Update: I decided to purchase the Eclipsion Z 3 (2023 march release) and it feels very comfortable with the full interior cushioning. Have yet to try them on court yet, but will update again after afew sessions.
