How would Mirage be able to safely transport Mr. Incredible to the containment matrix after he was completely engulfed? Wouldn't she just get stuck to him? Also, what if the wall-mounted cannons hit her with some of the projectiles?

How did Mr. Incredible think he was going to escape? I didn't see any control panel or anything next to the sliding door to open it. And how would he get past the lava waterfall? It seems like he was just hoping to blaze through the shots and hope for the best. Anybody got any ideas?
