This open-world game is pretty awesome however, there are a few issues with Elden Ring such as getting stuck on the loading screen, not launching, or it keeps crashing to your desktop. Thanks dude! I did it step by step and when I got to the Windows Defender Part I had to select both public and private. Opened right up!

I hate that we even have to do this kind of stuff in 2022. Like we paid for 100% of the game From Soft for you to make ready 100% of the product. This isn't a relay race lol just pass it off to the next person.

this game is so great but its plagued with issues so many people with different problems. I can launch fine and play for iike 5-30 minutes but it always crashes on me. idk if its my gpu dying because i have a 1070, i watch it in task manager just basically flatline. My temps are never above 65c even and it really doesnt max my gpu in most spots.anyone have similar issue with crashing.
i have a ryzen 5 3600 and 1070 8gb

I can play dark souls 3 all high graphics but when I lunched elden Ring for the second time (it worked fine on the first lunch) it would crash around every 5-20m fully shutting off my pc and then restarting right after I really don't know what to do

Guys do you have freezing like me? Like sometimes every 20 seconds I have freeze for 5 seconds and even sometimes it is during boss fight (but it is not just some freeze it is just like stops for 5 seconds fully)

nope, nothing worked, i press play, then a box comes up saying "syncing cloud files" the the box that said play that then changes to stop, just goes back to play again! it works on my laptop just not my desktop!

So my game was actually working almost perfect (couple fps stutters) until the last patch, now the game has crashed more than 5 times in one sitting all within the same area (one of the hero graves filled with lava). I can go basically anywhere else & the game plays but I go here & I crash 🙄go to comments for a possible solution to anyone going through this

FYI if you are experiencing an issue on PC where the game freezes twice in a row for a second or two every few minutes the fix is to uninstall your the games from the Xbox app. Specifically I think the first party games are the issue, but uninstall all just to be safe, and possibly the app itself. Several other players have already reported this fixed the issue for them.

I'm seeing a lot of people saying they get a white screen on startup but my problem is a little different so their solution might not work for me. I can enter the game with no problems but after I die and the loading screen appears that's when the game crashes, it always crashes on loading screens after you die, anybody else having this problem?

Why am I just now having these issues and I’ve done all the guides went to windows 11 all drivers and graphics updated moved files did other weird tech things Undid them redownloaded c++ turned off overlays I feel like I’ve done everything I’m just using a 5700g w intergrated graphics this game has been phenomenal and I can’t for the life of me figure out what happened I was playing just fine for a cpl days after the update I’m like 80% towards just buying it on my Xbox at this point just peeved about the 60$ and 200hrs lost

Nothing direct. No actual clue as to what's doing it. Just try all this stupid crap and hey, something might work!

As others have said, I think the Epic Games Launcher is one of the more common issues. I tried all these solutions and the only thing that worked was uninstalling the epic games launcher. Weird.

Wow. My microphone was interfering with the game launching.
