I always thought King Bach's vines were corny but he really did pioneer an entire media platform. I may not like his content but he's definitely a legend.

What he's missing was vine was a free app, and there were NO ADS. So there were was no funding directly from vine. Maybe in the future there were most likely would of been ads. But just remember. THEY WERE THE REASON VINE GOT CANCELED. Also side note that's why towards the end of vine they were promoting a lot of products from other companies. So they were doing just fine on their own. King Bach was also on news stations talking about his videos on vine.

Met king Batch on set of babysitter 2. I was the set medic for a couple of their lake/boat scenes. Only cast member that interacted with us. He was down to earth.

I remember I was staying late after track practice with my buddies to practice high jump in HS and King Bach came on campus to film a skit. it was late so not many students were left on campus.. but this dude showed us all up. He jumped way higher than any of us ever could. He said he used to do high jump, but this dude made it to state championships which is NOT easy for high jump at all.
