TIP: If you want to in paint on older images, just locate the job id and use /showid to pull it back up.

I think the biggest limitation is that you can't upload your own photo to use for inpainting. Or maybe you can but I can't figure out how.

There is a UI but in an invite only testing group. Really hope they release it soon!

I totally agree with the sentiment of ditching Discord as a prerequisite to access many of the AI technologies. It seems odd that we can’t just access this stuff through websites.

You can actually edit your old midjourney generations using the /show job_id command. That’s what I have been doing so far.

Neat, but Stable Diffusion + Lama Cleaner have been able to do similar level of inpainting/cleaning for a while.

HEY! Almost 69 here and I've been using MJ for 4+ months (as well as many of the other T2I programs) and I've been on Discord for years. And no, my background is not in any kind of tech. Just sayin! That aside, I agree that there is more that can, and probably will, be done with the inpainting capabilities on MJ. And as always, thanks for your content. You have become one of a small number of AI related content makers that I watch regularly! ✌

Actually, inpainting with Stable Diffusion since they introduced SDXL, is also powerfull….As it was mentioned in previous comment, Photoshop is not yet there…at all…So, being able to instal the SDXL on your own machine, I am going away from MJ - using extensions inside sd web ui for free - achieving the same or even better quality than in MJ.

If you try this feature and you don't get a prompt where you can type what you want, type /remix and it'll add the text prompt to the vary editor.
