Thirty minutes later, Seven was found alone, roaming near a high-end apartment building, igniting the first spark of concern among Heidi's friends and family. When Heidi didn't respond to calls over the next few days, worry escalated. The alarm turned to panic when, on October 20th, Heidi failed to pick her son up from school, an act so out of character that it led her ex-husband to file a missing person's report.
The Los Angeles Police Department's investigation led them to the Hope & Flower building in downtown LA. Footage showed Heidi entering but never exiting, suggesting she might have attended a party there. The LAPD's search extended to her home, where they found her cell phone and laptop but no sign of Heidi.
The case took a grim turn when the LAPD initiated a weeks-long search at the Chiquita Canyon Landfill. This decision was based on forensic evidence obtained from the Hope & Flower building, leading to a harrowing working theory: Heidi might have met with foul play at the party and subsequently been disposed of in a trash chute, her remains ending up in a dumpster.

I see a lot of comments about her walking the dog and going to a party with it. As someone who used to live in a New York City highrise, this isn't all that uncommon.

People will sometimes walk their dogs and then 'stop by' a party. The dog can be used as an excuse for an early exit in case the person doesn't really want to go but also doesn't want to be rude.

Also, there were speculations that Heidi was stopping by the party just to grab drugs from her dealer. Again, that's speculation. If she did that, she could've taken some and maybe overdosed, and people at the party panicked and threw her down the trash chute.

Then they could've let the dog out in hopes it would lead the police away from the building but instead it hung around and was found outside the building.

Keep in mind I only have 60 seconds to convey a case to you all. Sometimes the cases are neat and tidy and I can easily sum them up and you won't have any questions. Sometimes they are very convoluted and have a few theories so I try and present the overall story without my opinions mixed in.

Sorry for all the confusion with this case but it's a fairly interesting case to deep dive into if you're interested.

Side note, a judge declared that there was enough evidence to say she's dead so her son could collect his benefits from her death but the case isn't closed with the police.

If she was in that building, there'd have to been video surveillance...

Nobody leaves their dog on the streets of LA to go to a party. They know who lives in that building...it's more believeable that the person of interest has connections in law enforcement, the justice system, or lots of money than it is likely that the cops don't have any dots to connect.

This is heartbreaking period, but for her son it's even more heartbreaking to not ever know what happened to his mother. I pray someone eventually tells so her son and family can have peace.

Update: She was declared dead by the judge.
It was believed she was given Adderall laced with Fentanyl & collapsed/died during the party & placed into the trash chute so to avoid police as the party was super wild with illegal doings
OR she was done in by her boss who were having legal troubles & she was their knowledgeable bookkeeper.

BTW, the dog was going wandering that 28th floor after her disappearance!

There's a lot missing from this story. She left the dog with a dogsitter to attend a party that a guy she was seeing at the time was also attending. She allegedly took a Fentyl-laced Adderall and OD. There was a lot of illegal activity going on at the party and partygoers panicked, so they dumped her body down the trash chute. Police and FBI discovered enough evidence to believe this was the case and searched a landfill but never found her body. She was declared dead recently. She had a history of erratic behavior, mental health issues, and drug abuse.

Heidi is still in that building. Every missing person incident should be investigated by the FBI. Someone needs to find this beautiful soul. I hate this for her son and her remaining loved one.
I have 5 kids. They come looking for me if I'm gone for more than a few minutes. I can't imagine the heartbreak of her son. 💔 Praying she is found, but I've watched enough true crime to know something just don't add up. 🙏🏾🕊

Where is the evidence of her at the party? There would be witnesses. From the football game, to walking the dog, to a party? The party story doesn’t add up.
