This game unlocked my decade old memory of plugging in Budokai Tekaichi 3 on my PS2 and playing against my friends on a split screen TV. Only thing that came near that level of joy was playing Smash with my friends.

My favorite feature is the fact that if you pick ssj4 goku and vegeta then fuse them into gogeta it's stronger than if you just pick ssj4 gogeta

I never played the older Budokai games and I was getting folding by Vegeta in the beginning of the episode battles 😂 but now that I'm getting used to how fast the combat is, I'm starting to hold my own. I've already had some really cool close combat exchanges happen and it really feels like a fight from the anime happening in real time

This game is actually incredible. PVP is really fun, if you have a decent grasp you can feel like you’re a bit a good. PVE/STORY is fun because you get to enjoy the story and sometimes face easy opponents and try out combos. My one and ONLY gripe is sparking mode in terms of cpu combat only. It makes the game so much easier. I first thought it was useless, never charged ki past 5 and spent 4 hours trying to get the special timeline at raditz. It was until special ginyu force timeline that I figured it out it’s Infiniti punch was busted.
