Never take criticism from someone you wouldn't take advice from its that simple.

It can take a long time to discover and realise that not only do they not matter in the slightest but the reason why they say such awful things to begin with is actually a reflection of their own shortcoming about themselves. Most bullies work very hard to come across as powerful, strong, confident and cool because its actually everything they are not, they are often living sad and tragic lives. Its a shame because we don't see this when we are young it only takes years of reflecting back on it are you able to see the bigger picture, you will one day realise you wasted so much time caring about people who simply didn't matter and one day you might even bump into them as an adult and they will act all friendly to you as if that awful time in your life didn't happen. They don't care about you and they never did because you were nothing to them, you were just an easy target because you made yourself one, only ever care about people who love you for who you are and show them the same respect.
